I wondered if the food did not fit my body or was sick, so I changed my usual low plate to a 8cm tall plate with legs. It is said that what is eaten easily flows backward on a low plate. Especially for senior cats, crouching posture seems to put a burden on joints. Since changing the plate, the number of spits has been dramatically reduced, so it seems to be effective. I wonder if the environment where Yoshitama spends must be reviewed according to various ages. On the 20th, it’s Animal Welfare Day, and brushing gently while praying for Yoshitama’s future health. I love Yoshitama again today.
ご飯を食べたあと、吐くことが多かった よしお。
フードが合わないのか、体調が悪いのか、いろいろ考えて、今まで使っていた普通の低いお皿から、高さ8cmの脚付皿に変えてみた。
低いお皿は、食べたものが逆流しやすいとのこと。
特にシニアの猫には、かがんだ姿勢が関節などに負担がかかるらしい。
確かにお皿を変えてから、吐く回数が格段に減ったので効果はあるみたい。
よしたまが過ごす環境も、いろいろ年齢に合わせて見直さないといけない時期なのかな。
あさって20日は動物愛護デーだし、よしたまのこれからの健康を祈りつつ、ひとまず猫じゃすりで優しくじゃすったり、ブラッシングしたり。
今日もよしたまを愛でるのでした。
